In addition, the company engages in the converting and packaging business. It serves its customers under Medagel, Kenkoderm and Silly George brand names. The company was formerly known as AquaMed Technologies, Inc. and changed its name to NEXGEL, Inc. in November 2019. NEXGEL, Inc. was incorporated in 2009 and is based in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
